Kadences 11th Month of Life

Kadence has been 11 months old for 8 days. I am dying that she is this old already. I know I skipped over her 10th month of life somehow but I have been out of town for quite a bit and a bunch of things have changed here as of lately! So here we are, miraculously almost through the first year of her life!

This month Kadence has mastered tons of things. She has officially started walking (when she feels like it), signing "eat" & "milk, definitely saying "momma" & "dada", waving, climbing the stairs, & she officially got rid of her bottle!

We spent most of the month in Jacksonville with my best friend Karisa, her husband Colton & their two kids, Trey & Olivia. Karisa has a youtube channel if you want to follow! I love being down there with them so much, its a shame they live 4 hours away, someone needs to move lol ;) After staying there for about 10 days we came back home for 2 day & then Kadence went to spend a week with her dad in GA & I went to NYC to visit my friend Ericka again! So much fun! Kadence came back right before she turned 11 months old, we stayed with Colton & Karisa for a few more days because a storm had kept us from coming home (as usual).

I can't believe Kadence is now in her 12th month of life! Where has time gone? Stay tuned for a special video montage of her 1st year & let me know what you guys want to see posts about!

Kadence's 9th Month of Life

Well, it's official, Baby K has now been out in the world longer than she was in my belly. I know, I know, weird thought, but that's all I could think about when she turned 9 months old on January 11th! This past month has been filled with all kinds of firsts! From crawling, to standing, to teeth, to learning what "no" means & everything in between. I cannot believe I have a 9 month old! That, my friends, is 3/4 of a year old. WHAT?!

We did a lot of new things this past month! Christmas shopping in Virginia, trying new foods, & Kadence's first christmas happened this month which was so much fun! She's a pro (& speedy) crawler now. She has learned to open cabinets (uh oh), & she always wants to stand, even in the bath tub. She weighs about 16 pounds (her 9 month appointment isn't until next week), eats 3 meals per day (& 4 bottles), wears 6-9 month clothes, hates shoes, still loves her paci, sleeps from 730-9am (only waking once), takes 2 naps per day, has 2 teeth (as of this month), can wave (when she feels like it), understands 'no' & loves everyone. Her favorite foods are raspberries, pasta, & enchiladas & she wakes me up in the morning by screaming "MAMAMAMAMAMAMA". She got her first bump on her head this month while trying to bend down & pick something up, but I am pretty sure I was more traumatized than she was!

Kadence's 8th Month of Life

As of December 11, my little lady was now 8 months old! I remember talking with one of my friends when she was 1 or 2 months, how she would be at Thanksgiving & how crazy it would be, and now it's past Thanksgiving already. There is only 4 short months until she is 1! I think I'm going crazy, but I digress.

This month was filled with lots of fun! Kadence learned got crawling down perfectly, learned to pull up  on her knees & then to standing (everywhere!), went on a vacation with her dad to the midwest for Thanksgiving, tries lots of new foods & spent lots of time getting ready for Christmas with Momma.
